US ORDERS: Most of my artwork is shipped to the US. Each painting is shipped from Norway via private courier with tracking and insurance. Tracking number will be emailed to you once the painting is ready to ship. Processing time for the order is up to 10 business days to allow for export papers to be filed correctly.

Original works of art are duty-free under Chapter 97 in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS). Merchandise processing fees are applied, which equate to 0.3464% of the value of the artwork. This fee is the responsibility of the buyer.

If tariffs are unjustly applied I can provide any necessary documentation to help dispute the fees. 

 

EU AND UK ORDERS: This painting is shipped from Norway via private courier with tracking and insurance. Tracking number will be emailed to you once the painting is ready to ship. Order processing time within the EU/EEA and UK is 1-5 business days.

Norway is not part of the European Union but it is part of the EEA. Although many EU countries (and the UK) consider art to be exempt from Customs fees, a reduced VAT may be applied (5-10% of the value of the artwork) depending on the country. This fee is decided by each individual country and therefore can vary, it is recommended to read more about the importation of art on your government's official website. Any customs fees incurred are the responsibility of the buyer. 

If customs are unjustly applied I can provide any necessary documentation to help dispute the fees.

 

NON EU OR US ORDERS: Each painting is shipped from Norway via private courier with tracking and insurance. Tracking number will be emailed to you once the painting is ready to ship. Processing time for non EU orders is up to 10 business days to allow for export papers to be filed correctly. 

Depending on your country of residence there may be a customs fee to pay upon delivery, although in many countries  art is exempt from import duties.  There may still be a processing fee to pay, but this fee and any import taxes can be predicted by checking the information for the importation of art for your country on official government websites. Any fees incurred are the responsibility of the buyer. 

In the event that the painting does not meet your expectations or you have changed your mind and you wish to return it you will have 14 business days from the date of arrival to contact me about a return. After 14 business days have passed the sale is final. Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

In the event that the painting arrives damaged please contact me within 7 business days of arrival and I will provide instructions to repair any minor damage. If the damage is major and requires professional repair the shipping insurance will cover the cost of repairs by a professional local to you. The buyer must provide photo evidence of the damage (including any damaged packaging) in order to claim the insurance.
If more than 7 business days have passed or if the buyer does not provide the necessary photo evidence and other required information the insurance payout will be forfeit. In this case the cost of repairs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to read all the information on the product page before ordering. By making a purchase the buyer agrees to the terms set forth in each of the information sections present on the product page. The seller is not to be held responsible for any problems incurred by the buyer if the buyer makes a purchase without reading and understanding the information sections before purchase.
